Today I want you to be teacher and editor of your classmates postings. I will ask you to join with one classmate and read their posting on favorite food.

I want you to look for:

• the topic sentence
• the controlling idea
• a conclusion
• staying "on topic"

please comment on each of these things to your partner.

I am sorry I missed your class last week and also sorry that I was so slow in writing your comments. They are on your posting now.
I did not comment on everything you all wrote, but focused on what I thought were the most important changes you needed to make. I hope my comments help you.
